Engulfed

She stands in a room

Devoid of all light.

The fog rolls in

Fast and thick.

Quickly surrounding her

From her feet to her neck.

She gasps for air

Hurrying before the fog rises.
She sits in the fog

Her breathing laboured and harsh.

She’s got nowhere to go

And no one to look for her.

So she sits and waits.

Waits for the fog to swallow her whole;

Bring her to oblivion

And take away her pain.
